Gluten Free | Ketogenic Friendly
The combination of blueberries, coconut and vanilla protein makes me feel like I'm on a holiday!
½ cup frozen or fresh blueberries
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
½ cup water
2 tablespoons shredded coconut
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1 tablespoon almond butter
1 tablespoon vanilla protein powder, low carb
1 tablespoon flaxseed
1 handful of ice (optional)
Place all ingredients into a blender and blend until a desired consistency is reached.
Pour into a glass and top with some extra blueberries and coconut. Enjoy!
Variation - Vegan or Dairy Free
Replace a standard protein powder with a plant based protein powder instead. Bare Blends do a great vegan vanilla & coconut protein powder which can be purchased online or at various health food shops.
