Immunity Breakie Smoothie


In regards to building our immunity, the following ingredients included in my Immunity Breakie Smoothie are good sources of the following:

The combination of raspberries, spinach and cacao turn the smoothie a funny old colour once blended. It's also not overly sweet, however don't judge a book by it's cover... I guarantee you're getting all the essential nutrients to build a stronger immune system, so drink up!

 

Serves 1

Gluten Free | Dairy Free


Ingredients

1 cup raspberries (frozen)

½ banana (frozen)

3 tablespoon vanilla protein powder

1 tablespoon cacao powder

1/2 tablespoon cacao nibs

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

1 tablespoon almond butter

Handful spinach

¾ cup water

½ cup ice


Toppings

Sprinkle of raspberries, cacao nibs or sliced banana


Method

Place all ingredients into a blender.

Blend until a desired consistency is reached.

Pour the smoothie into a glass and top with your choice of ingredients.

Enjoy!


Note

If you have never tried cacao nibs, start with a minimal amount as they have a strong, bitter flavour profile.

You can purchase these from the health food isle of your supermarket for around $5 a packet (200g).
